María Vera is a contemporary jewelry brand founded in Guadalajara, Jalisco, specializing in statement jewelry, fine jewelry, and custom pieces. Each design is developed and handcrafted alongside master jewelers, combining traditional techniques with a deeply artistic vision of the object.

"I've always found it difficult to think of my pieces solely as jewelry. I see them as small sculptures. As long as I can remember, I've been fascinated by art and the ability certain objects have to evoke emotions. I often find myself observing a sculpture and imagining how it would look transformed into an earring, a necklace, or a ring. That perspective has defined the language of María Vera from the beginning."

That's why our pieces often deviate from the conventional. They don't aim to be a discreet accessory, but a presence. A conversation. An extension of the body and personality of the wearer.

"I deeply believe that jewelry has the power to accompany us, transform with us, and become part of our story. It can remind us who we are, who we were, and, at times, who we want to become."

For me, designing is precisely that: materializing what I dream, what I experience, and everything that inspires me. It's translating memories, emotions, symbols, and experiences into objects that can be worn close to the skin.
